The best! We went to celebrate my sister's birthday. We got cocktails... Amazing! & each got our own sampler lunch. So delicious! They even came out with the drum & she got a dessert with a candle. Beautiful place! Amazing good! Awesome service! We want to go again

My partner and I recently held our rehearsal lunch at Farmhouse Thai in Oakland, and from start to finish, the experience was amazing. We worked with their event coordinator/manager, Sam, who was incredibly helpful. He took the time to hop on a call with us to discuss our vision and was able to curate a menu for our group of about 35 friends and family, all while staying within our budget. The planning process was smooth and simple, but what really blew us away was the day of the rehearsal. We walked into an elegantly decorated dining area, complete with custom menus featuring our names and the courses for the meal. The attention to detail was incredible, and everyone in our party raved not only about the ambiance but also how beautifully the food was presented. The staff were exceptionally kind, and they even surprised my partner and me with a congratulatory gift, a gesture that was completely unexpected but so appreciated. My partner has always been a fan of Farmhouse Thai, but I'll admit that before this experience, I was indifferent. After this, though, I'm officially a fan! Whether it's for a casual meal, a date night, or a special event, Farmhouse Thai Oakland should not be overlooked. I highly recommend them!

We came with a group of 4 around 7:30pm on a Saturday and there was about a 20-25 minute wait for a table. Which was a bit confusing as we could clearly see there were so many open tables outside and a few inside. Food is bit on the pricier side but overall very delicious! For appetizers, we tried the chicken wings and calamari; both were cooked to perfection, had the perfect crunch and side sauces to compliment it. We also got some roti and side of curry sauce. It was extremely flavorful and one of the best curries I've had. The roti was a bit oily but the curry definitely masked it. My partner and I shared the Hat Yai Fried Chicken, which was more than enough for two people. It came with a variety items that really helped bring the meal together (ie blue rice, curry, roti, veggies). Our friends had the pad Thai (chicken) and pad Thai (veggie), and both really loved their dishes saying it was seasoned very well, noodles cooked perfectly and sauce was not overpowering. For drinks, we all tried the Thai Beer which was just ok for us, next time I'll try another cocktail drink. We tried 1 cocktail "hello gorgeous" and it was just ok to me as it was a bit sour for my liking and the flashing light was a little much after some time (lol). But I loved the novelty of the drink presentation, it gave off some fun vibes! The staff was super friendly and gave some great recommendations. They were also very attentive and ensured our waters were always filled. Be prepared to hear them do their happy bday song every 15-29 mins, I personally enjoyed it a lot! Overall, really enjoyed our dinner and can't wait to come back to try more dishes.

You need to come here! One of the coolest venues I have at it down from the plates, elaborate decorations, and the presentation of food. Everything we got was phenomenal. The only thing that was just okay was the blue rice- but it's blue! Can't wait to come back here.

Came here for a work dinner and it was a great experience! Parking was not too tricky in the garage in the plaza (Jack London Square), it was a short walk over, the venue was beautifully decorated, and they didn't spare any details - even the cutlery and dishes were gorgeous. The service was excellent! Even though we were a larger party, our servers took great care of us and we had no issues with our food or drinks. Come time for the food and drinks, delicious! Don't let the aesthetic presentations fool you, they are packing a punch with flavors also. I always recommend this spot to any friends or family visiting from out of town because it hits all the categories. Looking forward to coming back here again soon!

Great Vibes. I have been here two times in the last 30 days. Both times have been a great experience. The design and layout is beautiful and fun. It would be an awesome nightclub, based on the decor! IMPORTANT - Make sure you make a reservation - open table. Now, I am in the season of sharing plates and this place makes it possible. We ordered the mouth-watering Neua Num Tok Rolls - Wagyu Beef & my FAVORITE Crispy Calamari - that sauce is top tier! We also tried the yummy farmhouse wings - get extra sweet chili sauce on the side! Note - I am sensitive to fried food and had no issue with this place! Next, we shared the following: Veggy Thai Fried Rice - eat with the chicken you ordered earlier Hat Yai Fried Chicken Papaya Salad - super spicy wasn't my jam Moving to Drinks If you like strong drinks, this is your spot. I got the ISLAND THAI TEA and it was my max and refreshing Overall a great place, I can't wait to return

I hardly visit Oakland so I wanted to try something special. My wife has always been wanting to come here. I was skeptical when someone told me it's fusion Thai. After my meal, I'm a born again Asian fusion fan. This restaurant has a nice vibe. It's located just across from the water. No you won't get water views from inside, but you can enjoy a night out just by its location on the waterfront at Jack London square. A few steps away towards the parking lot is a trendy sports bar, and the other direction is a waterfront dive bar. I'll let the pictures do the talking. We started with rollled beef appetizers that were deliciously tender. We ordered a very flavorful fried fish bathing in Thai spiced sauce. The big boned beef dish with the blue rice is to die for. It taste a little like one of my hometown favorite dish called beef rendang. Meat is tender and the sauce hits all of the savory marks. If you have kids, you must order their flat noodles. It's basically pad sieuw and the portion is like adult size. Unfortunately, the chicken noodle soup missed the mark for our family. For a kid dish it's a large bowl of soup with lots of chicken slices and noodles. I brought it home for my furry kids and they devoured it. That sums up my experience here. I'll certainly come back and order their beef Penang dish, kids flat noodles and Thai iced tea.

What a wonderful spot. Found this place on Yelp and it checked all the boxes. 1. Great views as it's right on the water 2. Great drinks. 3. Great food Had the panang curry bone in short rib and it was magical. Never had anything like this before and this alone will make me keep coming back. Service was great as well. If you are looking for a great spot in Oakland dont look past this one.
